Appalling customer service

Car broke down over 3 weeks ago. It took me 30 minutes to find a number for them on my web browser that someone actually picked up . They took the car to the garage and told me they would be in touch - waited 4 days - nothing - phoned and told I would have to make a claim online - did this - nothing back. Phoned and told the online claim not processed properly - made claim over phone - had fully comp - not offers curtsey car told me I wasn't entitled to it. 3 weeks passed and I phoned 3 times - told the car was being assessed and had been taken to another garage. Found out today that car was still at original garage and after 8 phone calls I was told they were not paying out as mechanical failure even though I hit stones on the motorway.
The worse insurance company in the UK - avoid at all costs.
