Few weeks ago bought an LCD TV from them.When I placed the order,price was reasonable,however,for same item,now has gone up nearly £ 70 or more.
Anyway.I asked for free standard delivery and placed the order.However,next day I was stunned to find out that free standard delivery would take 28 working days to arrive!!!
Immediately I notified Teleworldplc about the issue and told them I had an occasion and 28 working days was a bit much wait.They refused to deliver faster,advising me upgrade to a 10-working-day premium delivery for £ 19.99 on top!!!
Being in such position,I looked for another internet company that would deliver faster and finally found one which'd deliver next day for a tenner more!At once I placed the order.
Notified Teleworldplc of my decision to cancel existing order explaining them reason for this would be extreme delivery timeframe.Shortly,someone from customer service called me back and offered me a next day free delivery instead!!!What a sudden change!But,certainly I had to refuse,as I had already bought item elsewhere.
Teleworldplc told me that a refund would take up to 30 days to proceed!
Nonetheless,after a 35 days wait,finally money was refunded to my credit card,where I had to pay another £ 25,due to high borrowing interest.
But,to end my misery,I found out in credit card statement that Teleworldplc had refunded me £ 25 less from total amount!!!
When I rang them to ask about this,I was told that this is administration fee charge when a refund is placed!!!I was never aware of this,until saw it in CC statement!
In the end,I paid £ 25 interest in my CC,was denied £ 25 refund and also paid around £ 10 for some 0871 nr phone calls from my phone bill,total £ 60 wasted plus frustration and didn't purchase not even a needle from them.
