Bought the camera on http://www.camerabox.co.uk, later that day received a call from them to say that the green colour was not available, that they were sending me the silver one instead. Received it the next day. Didn't like the way it was packaged - just the box in a plastic bag, no protective bubble wrap. The camera itself looked used. The box seal was broken, the screen had fingerprints on it, a lot of paperwork was missing. But the most important thing - the front case of the camera was open at the bottom where it should have been sealed. This fault will obviously affect it's water resistance as it is a waterproof camera. I returned it to Camerabox as quickly as possible and started the claim on PayPal. They decided in my favour in just 8 days (Camerabox never answered) and I got the full refund. Would NEVER buy from them again. Just a complete waste of time.
This nonsense that Camerabox have to open all the boxes to check for missing items!! They say that is to avoid DISAPPOINTMENT to customers when opening the box. Yeah right! Have never heard of anybody else doing it. And because the boxes are already open there is no guarantee Camerabox are not going to send my faulty camera (SONY DSC-TX5 SILVER) out again. And that I didn't receive it after somebody else had sent it back. We have to TRUST this dubious company! Why would we? They sell under 3 aliases - www.camerabox.co.uk, www.digital-cameras.com, www.digitalfirst.co.uk. Dodgy or what???!!!
