I ordered 3 doors a week or so ago. Despite being pretty sure that I had ordered the correct size doors, the doors that arrived were the wrong size.
I e-mailed my query and was assured that what I had ordered had been supplied.
I asked to arrange delivery of 3 new doors and the return of the wrong doors and was advised that I could telephone in order to make payment by card - which I did on 24 March paying £2 extra for the doors plus £20 for collection of the old doors - and delivery and collection were fixed for today (28 March). I specifically asked for confirmation that the old doors would be collected at the same time as the new doors were delivered and I was assured that this would be the case.
The new doors arrived today and when I asked the carrier to take the old doors he said he couldn't as he had no instructions to do so and he wasn't able to do so without the covering paperwork/computer information!
So, the old doors are still here despite assurances from World Doors that they would be taken away.
I'm not very impressed.
Update: I received a number of 'phone calls leaving messages asking me to contact the Complaints Dept. When I did so, the lady (Prachi?) apologised profusely for the doors having not been collected as arranged and she also arranged to refund the £20 collection charge. I feel therefore that my complaint has been dealt with very satisfactorily by the company.
