We required a sofa bed and quickly, made had exactly what we needed and at the right price. The addidtional bonus was that they offered an express delivery on selected items and the sofabed we wanted was one of thos products.
Delivery was fast as promised however the experience with the delivery driver was less than great. On arrival he asked for a signature, the delivery had not even made it off the van yet, so the offer was declined and he was advised that it would be signed for once the delivery had actually taken place and the product could be checked. He seemed a little disgruntled at this then went off the get the sofabed from the van. On his return with the item it was noticed that he was on his own, when asked how he was going to get it up the stairs by himself, he then got even more disgruntled, snapping back saying that he wasn't told it had to go upstairs. He was then reminded about the Made delivery policy as stated on your website "All large items will be delivered to the floor and room of your choice, and our delivery partner will remove the packaging on request." Despite this there was obviously no way he would be able to take it up the stairs so he had to be helped by myself, less than ideal. Thankfully it was a male at home and not a female as the delviery simply would not have been able to happen and then what? Once the idet was checked and now happy to sign for delivery, the courier driver starting getting very unhappy when a comment was written about him being by himself and therefore unable to provide the delviery service we had been promised, he got very unhappy and said you can't write that in there, my boss is going to see it! So as you can see the delivery was quite problematic and really didn't finish off the pleasent shopping experience we had experienced until this time. I would really love to hear Made's views on the delivery service and what they propose to do?
