Assembly annoyances

Assembling a recently-received order of the blue shelving, there were many (too many!) instances where the rounded tangs skipped out of the slots. I needed to use a thin-bladed screwdriver to guide them as I tapped the shelf bars in place. Actually, I could have used two screwdivers sometimes, but only have two hands. Perhaps the metal is softer now? A set I put together five years ago went together easily.

Thank you Robin for taking the time to write your review, we do take on board customers feedback as we continue to improve our products and services.

I’m very sorry to hear that you had some problems assembling the shelving units, it shouldn’t have been the case that the majority of the lugs needed to be guided in with a screwdriver.
I have put a product complaint onto the system for our product development team to look into, it may be that we have some faulty parts so I will look into this.
We are always more than happy to replace any damaged or faulty goods, otherwise we can look at collecting the shelving and exchanging it to another range of shelving or a refund, if you do wish to do so please call 01684 858484 or email joanne@bigdug.co.uk and we can get this arranged.
I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused.
