Have shopped here on multiple occasions and have been excellent each time. They have now been bought out by TruSnow, and I have not yet shopped with them under this new banner.
I ordered a Patagonia Down Sweater Hoody from this store back in mid-October 2010 in preparation for winter. I found this store using Google Products, and luckily they still had the 2009 jackets in stock at a lower price (about 25% of MSRP) so I decided to purchase it from this site.
When I placed the order, the shipping estimate came out to 5-7 days. I was happy to wait for this length of time. In fact, it turns out that I was happy to wait for 5-7 WEEKS....
After waiting about 4 weeks (it was now mid-November with temperatures dropping) I had still yet to receive anything or hear from the store. I gave them a call and they said that they DID NOT HAVE STOCK and were expecting stock at the end of the week. This was all due to the fact that the "shipping manager" was sick. Right.
So I called the following week allowing them enough time to receive their stock and have the order shipped out. Once I finally got through on the phone to them, the girl who I spoke to on the phone said that the stock had JUST COME IN and they were processing the order and that I would receive a tracking number once it shipped out. I wait a couple of days. No tracking number.
I call again the following week and ask what is going on with my order. Again I am told that it is being processed and should not be shipped out any later than Wednesday by 3-day air (they agreed to expedite the shipping due to the delays) which meant that I should've received a tracking number on Thursday, and the package delivered on Monday. Thursday arrives. No tracking number. Monday comes around. No package.
So today (being Monday) I called again. This time I am told that NORTH FACE is to blame. "Err, I ordered a PATAGONIA jacket."
"Oh... sorry... We are experiencing similar delays with Patagonia as well."
What happened to their earlier story of them already receiving the product etc - who knows.. but after 7 weeks of waiting for this product, I finally had enough with this idiotic mob and decided to cancel the order and ask for a refund. Hopefully they can do that right.
