toilet received was poorly packaged and had a hairline crack. Contacted Victoria plumb by email on the 23rd to advise, received a generic reply stating they would contact asap!
Decided to phone customer services on Wed 24th and after 10 mins spoke to Connie who requested a photo off damage (was advised to use eye shadow to highlight crack), this was sent same day giving references, address etc.
Emailed again on 25th advising I had plumbers on site so problem needed to be dealt with asap.
On Friday the 26th I received an email asking for an image. I have emailed again advising this was carried out 2 days previous. As far as I'm concerned a company is only as good as their 'customer service' and so far my experience is far from excellent!
Just thought I would update. It was agreed with 'Paul' (a customer representative from Victoria plumb), that they would provide a refund. This was agreed on the 2nd April. To date no refund has been received which I find disgusting. I don't know if they are in financial difficulty? I can only advise don,t buy from them, if you do use a credit card.
8/6/2013 still no refund for damaged goods although they agreed on the 2/4/2013 to refund.DISGUSTING DISGUSTING DISGUSTING. VICTORIA PLUMB YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES- YOUR CREDIT RATING USED TO BE 8.5 IT DOSEN'T DROP BECAUSE YOU ARE GOOD AT WHAT YOU DO!
14/6/2013, UPDATE- STILL NO REFUND ALTHOUGH PROMISED FROM PAUL AND KATE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE! (IN FACT KATE E-MAILED ME TO ADVISE SHE WOULD BE ON HOLIDAY UNTIL 24TH MAY), NICE FOR KATE BUT OFF NO RELEVANCE TO ME CONSIDERING IT WAS AGREED ON THE 2ND APRIL THAT A REFUND WOULD BE MADE.
PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL AS THE LAST TIME I WAS DUE A REFUND FROM A COMPANY AND IT TOOK A LONG TIME THE COMPANY WENT BUST!
I HAVE NOW PASSED ALL MY EMAILS ETC PROMISING A REFUND TO MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY (HOPEFULLY THE BIG BOYS WILL BULLY THEM INTO PAYING)?
