Quick, free, delivery and competitive prices.
If you return an item to exchange it for a different size (or colour) then the exchange item will also be delivered free of charge (first time you return it only) - this is really useful as buying items of clothing online can be a bit hit-and-miss for sizing.
The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the website doesn't indicate stock levels - usually when I order something I need it asap and don't want to have to wait for the supplier to get stock in.
Placed an order with stuff-uk.net at midday on 22 Dec, it arrived just after midday the next day by UKMail, delivered by the usual friendly & helpful driver. And this at a time when the country is in chaos due to the weather and some suppliers/delivery services have thrown their hands up and said that they can't deliver packages before Xmas which have been in their systems since early Dec (see reviews of www.dpd.co.uk for examples!).
Placed my order at midday on 22 Dec paying for 3-day delivery and hoping that it would arrive before the New Year. It arrived just after midday the next day by UKMail, delivered by the usual friendly & helpful driver. I bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner just over a year ago. The design is very clever, the way all the bits snap together and snap apart, although there are a lot of weak plastic bits involved which tend to break easily. The product comes with a 5 year guarantee, which is excellent. Recently a tiny bit of black plastic snapped off at the end of the hose which meant that the hose no longer stayed attached (bad design, very weak). I 'phoned customer services, it took a little while to get through, but I got to speak to a very helpful knowledgable guy who understand exactly what had happened and told me they'd put a new part in the post to me. He explained very clearly how to remove the old part and fit the new one (very simple once you know how).
Excellent customer service.
Very difficult to get to speak to anyone, unless you choose the "I want to leave Orange" option on the menuing system. Often there is no choice on the menuing system for what you want (like - "Where the hell is my phone upgrade which was promised for delivery X days ago?").
Worst of all they use DPD as their courier - go and see their reviews for how hopeless they are. Orange customer service simply not interested in an complaints about their choice of courier, and not interested in helping to find out when DPD might actually deign to try and deliver it. Apparently there is no complaints department and they don't bother to track problems with the courier. A great example of how not to do customer care.
My wife ordered a 'phone upgrade from Orange. She was given a delivery day and a tracking number. I was in all day on the delivery day, nothing arrived. Put the tracking number into the DPD website and it says that the driver attempted to deliver but noone was in. Bullshit. Maybe he crept up to the door and crept away again without making a sound. Except that then you would have thought he would have left a card with a reference number on it.
Can't get anywhere with DPD without a reference number from the failed delivery card, which we don't have because they didn't leave one because they didn't actually bother to try and deliver.
So back to Orange - of course their menuing system has no option for this, so the best way to get any response (as usual) is to select the "I want to leave Orange" option.
Avoid DPD like the plague, plenty of others have had the same experience, they're a useless bunch of shysters.
