I found that the charges made to the shipping companies are not made clear to the user of the site. Also, I couldn't contact a shipper direct - which is obviously just a way of protecting Shiply's fees. In the end, I completed this shipment outside Shiply because of the frustration with its system.
I ordered 3 bottles of Graham's Quinta dos Malvedos 1999 Vintage Port, which were not due to be in stock for some time. I was given an accurate delivery estimate, the delivery costs were reasonable and the bottles arrived promptly and well wrapped.
