So far so good

we have orders in the pipeline awaiting delivery.
An item was not available at our local stores so we telephoned Customer services.They were very helpful and advised that the stores would be restocked with the item on 12th March.
As I say, so far so good.

Lack of communication spoils the day!

You were kind enough to advise me that the order was being processed and said that I would receive an email when the order was despatched. It didn't happen.
The goods were delivered unexpectedly and we were out. I had to find a post office to obtain the goods.
They were received within the delivery time frame, which was fine.
An email would have made the difference. Small point, but important, I think you would agree.
Attention to detail finishes the job!

We are sorry to hear about the difficulty experienced during delivery. All of our email updates and tracking emails are automated to ensure that they are sent on time to our customers.

We have checked with our mail server and can confirm that an email was sent to you confirming despatch of our order. This email should have confirmed all your tracking details as well.

If this was not received then we can only assume that there was an issue on our side, either with your spam/junk filter or otherwise. As far as we can tell from our side, the email was sent.
