I spent a full day and a half with the salesman to ensure I got the right car for my needs, I then spent a further hour or so with the business manager who arranged payment... as the car I was to buy had a fault with the battery, (every time it was turned off it wouldn't start again, which I was psrty too on 5 occasions) it was filthy dirty and had large chips in the windscreen I agreed to leave the car for 3 full mid week working days for them to rectify the faults prior to collection... I arrived on collection day and spent an hour arranging the weeks free insurance that I hadn't been directed how to set up and paying for the car, I followed showroom 2's instructions to go to the collections department and collect my fault rectified car... mmm well after another hour or so I was finally shown to my ''rectified'' car, only to find that it was in fact in exactly the same place and condition that it had been upon me placing a deposit on it... it hadn't even been cleaned! Insult to injury is that the car wouldn't start as the battey had not been replaced!!! The collections manager Adam then took the car and had the battery replaced, whilst I waited... the car then had a damp rag wiped over it, but I had to go away and book in another time for the windscreen, I duly called on the Monday as requested, to be told no one in the whole of Camden Car Shop Northampton, could deal with the situaiton, only Shaun and as Shaun was off I'd have to wait to book my car in! A couple of days later I spoke with Shaun would told me he had booked the car in and would guarentee me a courtesy car, with witness' the car was booked in for 2nd April, when I arrived I was told there was no car and no booking for me today but for tomorrow, the attitude from the aftercare staff was abismal, they are rude and obnoxious and have zero idea how to deal with disappointed irrate customer, instead offering attitude and a raised voice. I think Claire who I had the misfortune to deal with could do with some serious training in how to deal with customers!
My car is still not sorted and I've had it nearly 2 weeks now!
Appalling customer care... I will NEVER buy from there again and as a recommendation I would suggest no one else did either!
