I requested a bike collection from Crewe to London last Monday for a Tuesday pick-up and a Wednesday delivery.
The parcel got picked up on Tuesday and I heard nothing until I lodged an inquiry on Wednesday.
I then exchanged many messages chasing up the whereabouts to no avail. It was then the Easter weekend in which no-one was available to liaise with.
I have been contacting them again this morning and they have now said it is missing and I should continue to prepare for an insurance claim. I wonder if they make more of an effort delivering the items with no insurance?
I have the name of the driver, the time it was collected and it's exact description.
In my eyes there is no reason for its disappearance outside of theft.
It is a bike; therefor a large parcel... Not a postcard.
My service was to pay them in exchange for their service. Their service was to deliver my bike. Unless <private data removed> the driver took a wrong turn off Beachy Head they have a lot of explaining to do.
