I ordered a full bathroom suite which (crucially for me) included an odd-sized P-shaped shower bath. When I ordered I knew there would be a delay on receipt, but there were a further 2 week-long delays as Bathshop were let down by their supplier and had to choose another who then had to re-tool...
Although it was inconvenient having to re-book and delay my workmen, I did get the impression that Bathshop did their best to keep me informed - as soon as they had definite dates they called me with these; and when they weren't sure, they were honest and said so. I wasn't given false promises!
Ultimately when it was ready the suite was delivered on the day I requested and was of good quality.
So overall this seems like a good service - teething problems with my particular product, but I did know this was a possibility when I ordered (it was noted on the website), and all were happily resolved. Given the good communication and my overall experience, I can recommend this company: the prices are good and the products are, in some cases, unique in size, which could be just what's required!
Ordering and delivery process was all very fast and efficient, happy with my purchase - good quality.
Room for improvement perhaps in the way items are detailed on the website (eg I'd like to know the dimensions of pockets in clothing so I know what I'll be able to fit in them - just keys, or Oyster card too?) and availability on popular sizes is not always great.
Once purchased however, the delivery process is excellent.
If you're happy to buy your white goods online, I'd say this firm delivers at good prices.
The deliveries I've experienced have been efficient and successful, and I live in a second floor flat so not quite 'vanilla'. My only criticism of this is that there's a flaw in the system: I chose the 'eco' delivery as I was in all that day, and they said "any time from 7am to 7pm, and we'll text you at 7am to let you know when". Can you spot the problem? And sure enough, I got a call at 6.45am to say they'd be with me in half an hour. The delivery was fine, and then at 8am I started getting automatic texts and calls to tell me the delivery would be with me shortly... I'm sure it works better if you happen to not be the first person on the round that day, but they should probably try to work that into the system.
When you order online you'll get a call an hour or two later, going over all the details you've provided, to give the operator a chance to offer the "extended warranty". That's modern life I suppose, and it's easy enough to decline.
These are minor niggles really. I'd use this firm again (have used them twice, in face) - they have their system, and they do a good job. Product details on the website seem to be all correct (and I needed them to get the dimensions spot on, which they did!).
