UPDATE: AFTER POSTING THIS MESSAGE, WE HAVE JUST HAD A PHONE CALL FROM WORLDSTORES CONFIRMING THAT A REFUND IS BEING ISSUED TO US. RESULT!
Wish we had read the reviews on this site before making the mistake of ordering from Worldstores. Funny there is only one phone number for Customer Services, and I don't think that anyone is actually at the other end. The amount of time you are on hold is incredible, and the costs soon add up. On Thursday, I tried over 8 times to get through during the course of the day, but didn't actually get through to anyone. Today has been the same too. No reply either to two emails sent to them via their website.
We placed our order the week before last for a divan and mattress including pillows and a duvet with next day delivery. We were given one order number and when we went to track it, it had somehow been cancelled. We were given another order number that didn't seem to exist on the tracking section.
Anyway, eventually, the order was delivered last Thursday. Unfortunately, it was incomplete in that only HALF the divan was delivered and there was no duvet or pillows with the order either. We had no choice but to refuse to take delivery. Therefore, ever since, we have been trying to ask for a refund without any penalties (they say on their website that any cancelled items will incur a cost of £40 per item) as the reason we didn’t accept the goods was not our fault. We had to go elsewhere to get a bed over the weekend as we did not have one to sleep on.
