the vacation was perfect but the flight - it was supposed to be Lufthansa quality

we are finally back from our New York Holiday after a nightmare round trip, where we booked with BUGET AIR for a Lufthansa Flight and we found out to be flying United Airlines on a really small and ugly plain for 8 hrs with the cheapest quality you can imagine: we flight separated on the way to go in our first trip outside Europe as a couple, the system online was not working when we tried to check in and the cabin crew was not able to help so we had to flight separated for 8 HRS and 30 mins, squeezed in the central row seats.

On the return we could flight together but again on a really small and cheap plain for 8 hrs. We'd like to ask for a reimbursement as we bought Lufthansa quality and we had to travel American United, a completely different level: really similar to Ryanair, we would have never bought something similar or an intercontinental round trip.

Adding a few details: cabin crew and check in ground assistant very rude and unfriendly, we'll never fly with them again, the vacation was perfect but the flight :(
