4 months ago I was involved in an accident involving another driver in the wrong lane turning into the rear side of my car. I expected this would be a fairly simple claim but clearly I was wrong. 4 months later and I am no closer to having this claim resolved after numerous calls and letters to Endsleigh. Firstly, when I reported the claim I was bounced around at least 5 different companies who act on behalf of Endsleigh, this was very confusing as I did not know who to deal with and information was clearly not passed between the companies well. Paperwork was sent to Endsleigh and further almost identical paperwork would have to be filled out again for the other companies. They deal with a company called AI Claim Solutions who are especially rude. Originally I was told that I would receive the full payment for my car and a cheque would arrive within I think it was 3 working days. The cheque did not arrive and later Endsleigh informed me this was not the case and the claim may go 50/50. Hopefully it will be resolved soon so I can switch insurer but I can see it taking another few months.
To start with the installation was cancelled 2 times which I had to take mornings off work for to meet the installer. I called talk talk to complain / arrange another install time and at this point the customer service advisor or what he should really be called customer service conman told me that as an apology for the issues he would add some free call boosters to the account which would be removed after 3 months. I hadn't even planned on using the phone but thanked him for the 'gesture'. To my dismay I have received bills for £28.20 instead of the £17.75 I signed up for. I have evidence in my emails that I signed up for £17.75 with absolutely no mention of boosters which would be charged if not cancelled in the first 3 months. It is clear these boosters were added to my account without my permission, I did not want, need or ask for them to be added. I did not even you a minute of call time on the phones, just the internet. I have spent over 45mins on hold to discuss this and the lady in the clearly Indian call centre was very unhelpful and rather rude (constantly interrupting me with a slur of irrelevant terms and conditions) . She told me I added the boosters at sign up which isn't the case. The account was cancelled but I was billed another whole month extra and I had early cancellation fees to pay. This would have been acceptable had I not had my bill increased by call boosters I did not add. I will be warning others not to use Talk Talk.

I would recommend that any tradesperson use Checkatrade. It is an excellent sales tool as customers can easily see your feedback and also generates a number of enquiries. Customer service is always excellent. Using a Checkatrade member will not always ensure a quality job but it certainly helps the public to make a more informed decision.
