Great car, Great value

We rented a lovely up-to-date 7 seater automatic Chrysler mini van which featured some nice unexpected toys - a reversing camera, electric side doors and electric tailgate. The vehicle was great and provided perfect, comfortable transport for our holiday and met all our requirements while in Canada. Collecting the car was easy from the terminal, just following the car rental signs. Returning the car was more difficult, as locating the car rental drop off area within the airport was tricky. There wasn't much advance signage, so we ended up missing the turn and having to do another lap of the airport road! Once in the correct part of the airport, locating the drop off location by the car rental company name was easy and just a case of following the companies signs.
My only complaint would be that I had pre-booked the rental and included the Damage Excess Refund at the time of booking. However the lady at the sales desk when I collected the car was very pushy and tried to make me pay again for this using the hire companies own version of Damage Excess Refund, although I stuck to my ground and refused and pointed out I had it already. The pushy nature of the sales lady at the collection desk was the only thing I really didn't appreciate - she was very keen to up sell every possible add on and really didn't like to take no for an answer. Apart from that the vehicle itself was great value for money.



Having placed an order for the special edition James Bond Skyfall Jack the Bulldog from Royal Doulton, I was immediately informed that there was a large backlog of orders waiting for new stock to arrive from the manufacturers due to popular demand. Havens kept me informed regularly of the status and even offered the option to cancel my order if I wished due to the delay. I was happy to wait and I can't fault them for their continued communication with the customer. Eventually, 3 months after my initial order they received the new stock and I received my item the next day following an email to confirm dispatch. I appreciate that sometimes these things happen and if you are kept waiting then it is great to be dealing with a company that keeps you in the loop!
