There's always something when ordering with scan

Well I've been using scan and overclockers for many years now.
Overclockers as always fast delivery, fast returns and replacement and goods always arrive undamaged. Scan however, not the case.

A long time ago I bought an intel CPU from can worth a lot of money, it arrived with a huge chung taken out of the box on both the outer box and the inner product box had obviously been opened (I only ordered from scan because they were cheaper) - however the product did work and go on to work for a few years.

Over time I ordered a few more items from them 8 out of 10 times the boxes nearly always have signs of damage on them or have signs of being opened.

A few experiences with their damaged good requiring me to go through the RMA process, and omg, it takes them 2 weeks to test if something has broken then a further week or two to send out a replacement that is in stock if not a month or so to re-order and replace, which is insane.

And my most recent, again dealing with a faulty product. I just purchased an icybox, outer box again, damage and inner box this time no sign of being opened (yey). Plugged it in and nothing, so back in the box and sent back to scan. That was 3 weeks ago, first they didn't process my RMA in their automated system, I had to call them about it. Now 3 weeks later they have tested it and found that it is faulty, so I gave them a call and all I can get is, it's awaiting replacement or refund, you should know sometime this or next week. So to purchase an item that is faulty and get a working one will take around a month. If this was overclockers it would have been resolved in less than 3 days.

Stick with overclockers, amazon or dabbs, unless their price is vastly lower than the rest.
