Visited guitarguitar in Edinburgh to buy a guitar for daughter who is just learning. Neither her or I were very clued up about guitars generally and the 2 different guys who spoke to us were helpful and informative without being pushy. They answered questions fully and clearly knew what they were talking about.
There was a good selection of guitars to choose from and the quiet room was an added bonus as it let daughter try some models out for size without feeling as if she was under scrutiny by staff or other customers.
We purchased one of the models that was recommended and it's been a perfect fit and daughter loves the feel of it.
I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're in the market for a guitar or accessories.
I've been using VioVet for some time now, good prices and quick delivery. Fast and friendly customer service, I don't think the new site layout flows quite as intuitively as the old version but that's just my personal opinion.
I love the referral scheme BUT I hate the way the invoices state that my purchases were paid for by referral credits. I don't see why the invoices can't just state the amount of the item then the words 'paid in full' (or similar). I am required to forward my invoices on to another party and the mention of referral credit causes issues every single time and it throws a spanner in the works. Please VioVet, consider tweaking this.
I do recommend VioVet to others, I think they are a reputable and reliable company. I'd have given them 5 stars if it weren't for the invoice issue.
UPDATE: I'm delighted to change my 4 star rating to a 5 star rating. Viovet have acknowledged the issue I was having and have gone out of their way to help. Can't fault them at all now. The sign of a good company is how well they treat their customers and I have to give VioVet top marks for responding in such a positive manner to a customer difficulty.
