I booked a holiday to Palma Nova at the beginning of May using Lowcost which involved airport carparking, fflight, transfers and hotel, all arranged by them. When we got to Birmingham long stay park they had no record of the booking for which I had paid £47. Eventually they issued a ticket and let us through the barrier. On return, the ticket would not open the barrier and we were asked for over £80 parking fee! After a long discussion they finally relented and let us out of the car park without paying anything further. Lowcost have still not responded with an explanation as to why we were not booked in.
The hotel we stayed in was the Sol Cala Blanca which gets excellent reviews on their website - there is a reason for this, I posted a not too complimentary review and they have not published it!
My two trees arrived very promptly and perfectly packaged in a sturdy box which showed no signs of damage. At first I was worried only one tree had arrived but upon opening I found the pots cleverly taped together one above the other with protective card and bubblewrap around. Nothing had moved and no damage whatsoever. A much better experience than a recent purchase from another company where the box had been bashed in transit and one of the pots inside crushed although no apparent damage to the bamboo plant itself.
I am delighted with the Birch and Liquidamber trees which are now in situ and I am eagerly awaiting the warmer weather to boost them into growth. Thankyou.
