This is not the cheapest service I found, but after some quick questions I was assured that new components would be fitted with a warranty and posted back the same day. Email updates kept me informed every few hours. The hardest part was me going to the post office to send it off and actually that only took five minutes and wasn't actually hard.
Does what it said on the tin. Would recommended to anyone.
Every year Stevenson's remind us the boiler needs servicing, they are flexible on dates and time because they are a local company, they come and do the job at a good price.
They also wear little bootie overshoes to keep the carpet clean. Nice bloke. What's not to like ;-)
Time is very precious and I found that I had a time I could get the tyres on the car changed within my control before leaving the country on business. So I ordered on line. I then receive the call saying they don't have the tyres in stock and they can't deliver and fit on time!
Where you sell someone a timeslot for delivery they have chosen it for a reason, to then not deliver on that is deeply frustrating.
I received the call with the bad news whilst I was on the train to work and asked the chap if we could figure out a new time via email as I would need to consult my wife about her diary as I would be unavailable for the next month. He replied saying they don't do that. From an internet sales company this was laughable.
The chap on the phone finally gave in and emailed me and then I could email my wife and find a new time that suited her schedule with her job and dropping off the kids at school etc.
From that moment onwards the service was great, the fitter arrived at the new time, did the job and left and it was all at a good price.
But I still maintain to sell a service online based on a timeslot for delivery and then within minutes after taking my money to tell me there is no stock is laughable. This is the very point of the internet. Poor systems in place, would not recommended to a friend, but have since learned that people rate blackcircles very highly.
