I ordered a futon with world stores on 1st April and requested delivery today as I could book the day off work. I emailed them earlier this week as tracker stated awaiting shipping and they confirmed it would be delivered today.
I have waited in since 8am and sent numerous emails enquiring why the tracker still states awaiting shipping. Finally have a response at 5.10pm stating that they cannot get hold of the supplier as they've closed for the day and they will look into it on Monday. Appalling service when chased prior to delivery date and when required for visitors this weekend.
It is now 10 days later and they managed to deliver on the appointed day and a very friendly delivery man too!
However the frame for the futon was scratched and damaged and appears second hand.....can't even dare myself to unwrap the mattress so angry!
Got hold of customer services straight away as they had been contacting me constantly with updates since this last review (good service) and have now sent pictures of the damage. Awaiting to see what will be offered to me! Dread another day of sitting around for replacement or collection and refund based on my experience so far and based on the other reviews here. Feel like I have just thrown money and time down the drain. Keep you posted
So cannot get replacement and collection on same day, ridiculous! Therefore cancelled order and awaiting collection and refund. This is the 3rd day of sitting around waiting for the courier to arrive, this time for collection and yes you guessed it no one has turned up yet!! Lets see if its ever collected or if I'm left with this faulty futon
