Having read reviews about the delivery company used by world stores, I was dubious about my delivery time. I ended up waiting in from 8am to 8pm when my delivery finally arrived.
By 5pm I had phoned the delivery company twice who assured me that although the delivery driver was on his way back to the depot, my package would still be delivered and the depot manager himself would deliver to me at around 6.30 pm on a Friday night.
After this conversation I received an email from world stores to say my package wouldn't be delivered and gave me a new delivery date! I responded to the email to say that the depot had been in touch and were delivering that night.
A further email from world stores arrived to say they had been in touch with the depot and only part of my order would arrive that night. I demanded a refund of my delivery charge - which I received.
Imagine my surprise when all parts of my order arrived at 8pm with the depot manager, suited & booted!
World stores had clearly not been in touch with the depot! However, I did appreciate my delivery charge refund!
I'd use world stores again as the products I ordered are great, but they definitely need better communication with their delivery company!
