Friday 12th - Msg to confirm order will arrive 15th April.
Monday 15th - Msg to advise that parcel has been delayed. On further inspection, it's been sent to from Sheffield to a Welsh depot, instead of one in Birmingham.
Tuesday 16th - Msg at 11.45 to say my parcel will be delivered between 11.00 and 12.00. At half past 12, I leave for work. Upon returning home, I have a calling card to say my delivery was missed. Unfortunately no time is recorded on this card to indicate how far past the advised delivery time delivery was attempted.
Wednesday 17th - Msg at 09.07 to say my parcel will be delivered between 09.11 and 10.11. Parcel arrives at 10.26, in poor condition, the outer cardboard box being greatly misshapen and a tear on one corner - the item inside the box being damaged on the corresponding corner.
Based on this experience, service was poor/inadequate at best. Yet a few weeks ago I ordered a new mobile 'phone from Three, with next day delivery, which I think came via DPD. In that case the service was exemplary. Unfortunately. The poor service received today, is that which shall stick in my mind.
