It was a scary and expensive decision to have surgery, but changing pairs of glasses for reading, driving etc had become really irritating.
The surgery itself was ok, I didn't enjoy it but it doesn't hurt at all and it only takes a few minutes.
Afterwards in the waiting room I wasn't told very much by the nurse with me...it was only when another patient came in and a second nurse told her what she could and couldn't do for the next few days that I got the information I needed. Not good...
The results are extraodinary. I could read without glasses immediately and within a month my long distance vision was clear.
The aftercare has been good and though one of my eyes has been a bit dry the opticians are thorough and reassuring.
Go for it!
