I've been doing DC for just over 3 weeks now. I started by buying a week's worth from EBay - someone else's choice. Near the end of that week I decided to commit and bought my first month's hamper. I have lost 6 pound so far ( have about 2 and half stone to lose) in this time I wasn't on plan for 5 days as I was on holiday, so I'm very pleased. There are some items I really like: minestrone soup, chunky veg soup, chicken jalfrezi ( really nice), salmon and veg bake. Others are ok, just a few I'm not that keen on. I add 40g of rice/ pasta or 2 spoonfuls of smash, or salad or veg. I have rarely felt hungry. I have 3 portions of fruit per day. Forgot to say I think the snacks are great, especially chocolate oat bar. Once a week I shall replace one meal with a non diet chef one but still trying to keep it a low cal version (eg Sunday roast with limited potatoes and no gravy but meat and veg). As, for me, it feels a bit costly, I am determined not to be tempted to break it! Last night I refused a cream cake at my Craft class!!! I enjoy leaving my snack to have with a cuppa at the end of the day. DC fits my busy lifestyle and as my other half is away during the week is ideal for lone dining. My only moan was with delivery. Having chosen a specific day for delivery, the hamper never came, excuse that it was because of the bank holiday......but why give the option on the website. However, my bill was reduced by £10. I feel positive that I will lose the weight I want to.....
