I'm still waiting for my Track IR, 10 days since I ordered?

So money was taken from my account on the 05/04/2013 for a Track IR which I placed a order for. On the 08/04/2013 I received a email below to say the following:

Thank you very much for your order of 05/04/13 (order no. O-18930).

Thanks for your order. This is just to update you that our site shows a 7-10 days wait at the moment on these as we are waiting for new stock from the USA.

They have been a little late due to a component issue with the vector clip.
We hope to receive them within 10 days, and will post yours on a next-day delivery.

If you need us to take additional urgent steps to meet with any requirements you may have, please let us know by replying to this email and we will do all we can to meet these for you.

Rest assured your custom is greatly valued and your complete order will be automatically despatched as soon as stock is available. We will send you further emails to confirm the successful completion and despatch.

I did ask for another update on the 11/04/2013 and got the reply below:

Just an update to your order.

Sorry to keep you waiting, we are still waiting for our order to arrive from the USA. Could I possibly update you within the next couple of days with a more accurate date. I have your order marked down as urgently required.

If you would like to change your order to an in stock item which is similar, please let me know and I will have that arranged ASAP.

In the meantime many thanks for your patience and business.

I did not want a replacement so decided to wait because I got the above reply.....

so it's now 18/04/2013 and still waiting :(

I'm giving this company just two stars for now.

I received a email yesterday morning (18/04/2013) after posting my review, the email advised my TrackIR has now been despatched , also received a decent email from the owner, detailing the problems they are have been having. Because of this I have increased my rating to four stars because each time I asked for a update I did get a mail responce back from the company, but I'm not sure if I would use this company again due to the time it's taken, If i do receive the Track IR by today, it would have been 10 working days since I put my order in.

Since we deal directly with the manufacture for this item, we are subject to delays their end. We have tried to be pro-active, and note that we are still within the originally quoted 10 working days.
In fact, we're pleased to say that the item is actually shipping today, so is on-time.
We are always as proactive as possible in keeping our customers informed if there is an unavoidable delay, and sometimes this is outside of our direct control.
We value feedback on Trustpilot, but would mention that it is not a forum for general reporting of progress on orders, particularly in sharing emails; we would rather this is dealt with in confidence with us directly.
