Ordered boots over a month ago. Was telephoned by Garden XL to say that there would be a 1 month delay before the boots would arrive. Apparently this was because the company that produced the boots were delivering them to Garden XL less reliably than previously. Garden XL offered to cancel the order but I said I was happy to wait. After a month, I emailed Garden XL to ask for a progress report. I received no reply. I therefore ordered the same boots from another company thinking that Garden XL had mislaid my order. The boots from the other company arrived a couple of days later. I was informed which day the boots would be delivered, & on the day of delivery, I was informed which hour they would arrive. The service from this other company was excellent.
About 2 weeks later, the boots from Garden XL arrived. They were left on my doorstep because I was out. I had not been informed about the delivery details & could easily have been away. This was a very poor service.

Website was good & user friendly. Boots were sent very quickly. The arrangements for delivery were excellent with advance notice of day of delivery with opportunities to change. Later, the hour of delivery was given which was extremely helpful. Thanks.
