I purchased a Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3-581TG, Intel® Core™ i7-3517U from this company. My reasons for purchasing was the price for a i7 Ultrabook with 10gb of memory and 20gb SSD - untouchable and unbeatable! The ordering process was simple enough, a few screens to go through if you want optional extras, then select the type of postage (I selected free postage). I received an email confirmation of my order within minutes, followed a few hours later by a 'my order is being processed' email. By the evening I received a tracking number. The laptop was delivered the next day by courier. I wasn't expecting this as I selected free delivery, usually 3-5 working days delivery, so 10 out of 10 for delivery! The laptop was well packaged. Simple to set up (Windows 8 so a learning curve for myself). The laptop build quality is good. It is fast compared to my old i5 HP laptop and IBM Thinkpad. My only problem is the keyboard. As I type this, some of the keys are extremely non-responsive! So much so, that typing this review is an UTTER pain in the backside. The keys A, N and the spacebar and shift keys are the worst! I find myself constantly having to review every word I type, go back, delete, highlight, etc, to correct words. My old IBM Thinkpad may well be coming out of retirement at this rate. I'm not sure if this is the norm for this make of laptop, but checking other reviews some reviewers have noted this problem. I'm hoping that the keyboard will 'bed-in' with use, but I suspect I may well be chasing my money back at some point.....
