Naked Wines

Sounds too good to be true - and is

Over hyped, misleading sales patter litters the Naked Wines website and automated email engine, promising all manner of wonderful discounts etc. What they would probably describe as being economical with the truth. Do not be fooled though. I became an Angel only to discover the small print. They then made every attempt to block my cancellation and to persuade me to continue my membership. Response from customer services proved curt and unapologetic. If you have got a bargepole handy, quick tip: do not touch them with it.

Customer service doesn't live up to expectations, in fact right now it's non existent

Have ordered many things from Wells Poultry over the last couple of years and usually the products work well and are promptly delivered. However I've just bought a VSB timer which I can't get to work. The instructions that come with it are pretty incomprehensible and the supplementary instructions on their website aren't much clearer. I'm not the only person who has said so. I've tried posting a query on the website, emailing the customer services and phoning the 0800 number. The latter just rings and rings and after two days I've had zero response to the either of the others. Again, I'm not the only person to have experienced a blackhole of support. I didn't want to post a negative review but perhaps someone will contact me now and give me the level of customer service their website promises, but has yet to deliver...
