Bought PSG football tickets through Viagogo as I was going to Paris. Sadly, the game was put forward by a day (within a couple of days before the game), which meant that I could not go to the match. I did arrive in Paris a day after (the day the game was originally scheduled for).
Firstly, Viagogo did not contact me about the date of the event being changed or offer an apology.
I expected a full refund from viagogo, as it was not my fault that I could get to the game. They replied:
"Thank you for your email regarding your transaction (ID ) for PSG vs Montpellier on 29/3/2013.
viagogo is an online ticket marketplace that enables people to buy and sell tickets to live events. We are not the event organisers, and whilst we try to keep up to date with all events and inform our customers should there be any changes, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure they keep up to date with the scheduling of the event.
Unfortunately we are unable to make any refunds or offer any compensation as a result of changes to the scheduling of an event.
