I received an email on Saturday 20th April at 20:25 telling me that my parcel had been delivered. I was actually in at the time of the email and had been for several hours and nothing had been delivered. I had been out at different times of the day but no card had been put through the door either.
I contacted Yodel through firstname.lastname@example.org and have been dealing with Laura. Laura has been excellent trying to get to the bottom of my issue. It is stated that the parcel was signed for under my family name and I know for a fact this wasn’t any of my family. There was then a driver interview conducted and the driver said that it was delivered to one of my neighbours but he couldn’t remember who, even though I was in at the supposed time of delivery. So when the alleged delivery took place, I was home, although nobody came to my door and one of my neighbours signed for it in my name? Sounds suspicious to me!
I have now raised an official complaint with Yodel and I am waiting conclusion. The delivery service received from this company is shocking as they have failed to provide the fundamentals of the service. Customer service from Laura has been exceptional and she couldn’t have done any more for me. It has all been a bit of a wasted effort though as I am still without my parcel. I will be avoiding at all costs in the future.
