Dissapointed with delivery and communication

I ordered a bed online for my elderly grandmother, the mattress arrived with no problems howervert he base did not arrive, I was unable to contact someone directly and discuss this issue, I was directed to use email facilities which I am fortunate to have however that is not the case for everyone and certainly not my grandmother. I was dissapointed to receive no further correspondence from the company, the frame eventually arrived with no explanation on why it was delayed and no prior warning for delivery resulting in distress to my grandmother.

Please accept our sincerest apologies to yourself and your grandmother for any upset caused by the delivery not arriving on the chosen date. We have looked into your order for you and the reason that the bed arrived late was due to the post code that you live in, the delivery driver was not able to make it all the way to you on this date and it had to come to you the following day. are very sorry that the driver was not able to keep you updated with his progress on your delivery.
