Well in spite of the terrible reviews of Yodel, I was dreading the non-arrival of my package.
I missed the initial delivery as I was at work (annoyingly the depot/business cannot contact their drivers, which seems incredibly stupid). No card was left, but I saw from online tracking that it was back at the depot. I called up and asked them to hang onto it and I would collect in person.
I duly went along to the depot, only to discover the parcel had been redelivered, which filled me with dread as I never thought I would ever see my package.
Well I got home that evening and saw the Yodel slip and lo and behold, it had been left with the neighbour who had a builder in!
Was extremely pleased, and in spite of the horrendous reviews on this site, hats off to Yodel for taking the initiative. Also, I have spoken with 3 people from Yodel, and they are all really, really nice and helpful. I think it's the drivers who let the company down, which is a shame.
All in all, very happy with the service. Thanks Laura, too for your help
