I bought a radiator on line with an expected delivery date, verified by email. I matched this delivery date with other items being delivered from another supplier, booked a day off work and also booked the plumber.
The radiator did not turn up as expected, I called Victoria Plumb who said that my delivery date was the day after, even though my email clearly stated this was not the case. I asked for confirmation that this would be delivered in the morning of the new date, to which the response was I would receive an email at 6pm informing me of my delivery time. The email did not arrive until 12.05 am informing me of delivery later that date but with no time? I had already arranged for the plumber to come back the next day to take delivery of the radiator and fit it, the radiator did not arrive until 3.30 at which point the plumber did not have enough time that day to fit it. I bought the radiator in the Sale at £100 cheaper than other suppliers, but in actual fact in time and the cost of the plumber has now cost me more than if I'd have paid full price elsewhere!
