Online shopping is growing on me! Working for 12 hours a day doesn't leave a lot of time for shopping or any other housework ... Weekends I'd rather spend with my friends. So while my groceries arrives from Waitrose, books & other useful stuff from Amazon, I started to look for a place to help me with a task that I hate the most – dry cleaning and ironing. My local dry cleaners close so early that I can never make it in time. I used to take my suits to work and drop them at dry cleaners during my lunch break, but it is such a pain to carry them back home. Very recently I discovered Dry Cleaning Square. Find it very convenient and easy to use. Now I pick the same time slots for all my online deliveries and kill two or even three birds with one stone ☺ Would definitely recommend.
I order from amazon regularly (as I guess all busy working people who have zero time for leisure shopping). I was impressed how they handled problems that I had with them recently. Basically, my delivery got lost 3 times (!). Not their fault though, happens in my office building. So they reacted to my emails within hours and would send it again and again and again until I finally got it. No additional charges.
I used Asda delivery when I was a student at Kingston University. With all the assignments and exams, I simply didn't have time to shop! I should say that Asda saved our lives :))) We would buy groceries for the flat and the time we had to spend was very little. Especially when the first purchase is made and it remembers your choices. In 1 month it would take us 10 minutes to order our weekly shopping and fill the fridge. I still use online grocery shopping but go to the actual shop from time to time to try and see something new.
