I value the support that Hostelworld is giving to my trips. I find it easy to navigate through the website, and search for my next accommodation. The information asked from hostels are just enough to give you a good picture of what you should expect. Booking is easy, even though I would like to see more credit card options (ex Diners Club). Asking the traveler to review the hostel visited, as few days after the check-out, is an effective way to get these vary important opinions. I alwaysread the reviews before booking anything.
Where I would see more extra value? The answer is in the "extra" word. Most websites offer the same kind of thing, and in the booking function I don't see much to improve. So any other "good treat" would make Hostelworld stand from the crowd. For example, looking more at the loyalty program and offer more to the more frequent users.
The wine is really tasteful. Less is the customer care. I was given a delivery day and time, the delivery guy didn't show up. He called me the next day, to agree on another time that is convenient for him. Again he didn't show up. I wrote to Philipson Wine but nobody came back with an answer. The delivery person called me some 2 weeks later that he can pass by in 10 minutes to leave the wine...
