We have returned to using hostelbookers because we are, overall, very happy with their service. We did have the problem when we arrived at the accommodation in Turkey earlier this year, we'd booked through their site, in that the guest house – Emre Cave Pansiyon – could find no record of our booking at first. However, this is not, we think, the fault of Hostelbookers. We had the same problem with other accommodation we'd booked in Turkey through other sites. A definite plus of hostelbooker is that they only ask for 10% of the accommodation cost up front, unlike other sites that ask for more. There was a problem with the Turkish accommodation though in that the GBP price hostelbookers had told us was way off the mark and our accommodation cost considerably more than we'd expected. In fact, we may well not have chosen to book to stay there had we known the actual cost: a CHEAP trick from hostelbookers to lure customers in, perhaps?
