I placed an order 4 days ago for a couple of tyres. I paid £139 via my Visa card, which was debited immediately. I also received an immediate email with my order confirmation and order number. Sorted, or so I thought!
I attended at my chosen garage to have my tyres fitted today to discover that they had no trace of my order. So they phoned tyre shopper and they have no trace either!
So they have my money, and I don't have my tyres and I've wasted an afternoon off my work. Now waiting for tyre shopper to 'help' me. Hmm...
No idea if they will be able to sort this for me or not, but at the moment, I am not left with a good feeling about this company.
Will hopefully not have to raise a chargeback through my credit card to get my money back.
I got my last set of tyres through black circles and that was dead easy. Should have stuck with them I fear.
I was looking to book airport parking and simply used google to find a company. holidayextras came up to the top, so I clicked to them.
I made my order through to the end and was stung by a debit card fee. How Ryanair I thought, but paid it.
Only after I got my receipt did I discover that they has also thrown in a 99p charge for posting me out a receipt I didn't ask for.
This really annoyed me so I cancelled. If a company has such a sneaky website designed to trick you out of your money with extras you don't need, I simply cant trust them to deliver on anything properly, so I cancelled.
Wont be using them again.
