We paid over £1000 for rattan furniture from Corban Direct--and waited in all one day for the delivery--to no avail. They never called to apologise, or to tell us that they had supply problems--and I don't know how long they'd have held onto our money had we not complained.
NOT a good experience. NOT a trustworthy company.
I ordered a racquet, with which I hardly played during one day before deciding that it lacked sufficient power. I contacted Tennisnuts and got a sympathetic response from one of their public relations people, suggesting that a refund was possible. However, I then received a note from another rep. suggesting that it would 'cost £30' to repair the grip (hang on, we all know how much a new grip costs, right?--perhaps £3?) and about the same to repair damage to the frame (I'm a middle-aged woman, playing in the most advanced class in the Bromley Tennis Centre, playing doubles, and not in the habit of damaging frames!!) In other words, their (second) representative decided, living at my postcode, that I could afford to pay over £60 for, um, nothing.
Have heard nothing since. Customer service? What customer service? My advice is to steer well clear of this lot.
