Bought a backpack from Greensitts.co.uk which was faulty and unusable on arrival, was eventually asked in writing by Irina Greensitt (owner of company) to return by Hermes, with the promise "Please return the bag to the address on the invoice via myhermes.co.uk and we'll refund you £4.20 postage paid.
Waited a week after confirmation they had received the parcel then emailed repeatedly without response; finally got my purchase money refunded after the good people at PayPal took up the issue for me, but still waiting a month later for Irina or Linden Greensitt to return the £4-20 promised for postage or even to reply to a single email or phone message. Cross that someone can so blatantly ignore the law and continue trading unchallenged, especially as it seems I'm not the only one they have done this to. It's "only" £4-20 but more importantly the principle, and the fact that Greensitts appear prepared to trash their company reputation and alienate current and future customers is distinctly odd.
I've used Tyre Shopper in the past and consistently saved a substantial amount while being able to use my local tyre fitter for the work. Same this time. Prominent use of the new EU tyre labelling on the website is very helpful to make comparisons, enabling me to buy tyres that have top wet braking marks along with excellent fuel economy. Only thing missing is more links to independent tyre reviews to give more detail...these are out there on the internet but can be hard to come by and would enhance the site further.
