"We have been contacted by our Compliance Department who have confirmed we are unable to make the payment for contract C+++++++ and have refunded your card at no loss .
This is due to being unable to verify the legitimacy of the beneficiary bank, processing such a payment would be a breach of our regulatory obligations and our duty of care towards our customer."

I should have got my window cleaner to do it, he might have been successful!

Thanks for taking the time to post your review.

As I'm sure you'll appreciate, we're meticulous about the security of client funds.

Occasionally this means we'll refund a transfer made at no loss to the client if we are unable to verify the legitimacy of the beneficiary bank and/or as the email said we believe by processing the payment we'd be breaching our duty of care to you the customer or our regulatory obligations.

I really appreciate how frustrating this maybe for you, however I also hope you'll understand that we're trying to act with your best interests at heart.
