I ordered a bag from Nightgear, that was marked as "In stock", with a 7-10 day dispatch time (which seemed reasonable). After 9 days of no contact, I checked the online order tracker, which said it was waiting on a response to an email. An email I did not receive - not even in my junk mail.
After calling the helpline number (a national rate 08445 number), I was told that they were waiting for the item to arrive from the manufacturer, which would take *another* 7-10 days.
I know of a number of online stores that will provide an expedited delivery after a delay - let me assure you that Nightgear is not one of them.
I also discovered when I opened the package that one of the straps was missing. I am currently attempting to talk to customer services regarding this, but I get the feeling that I might be waiting a while.
In an environment where first impressions are everything, they need to do far better. Unless they step up their game a huge deal, I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future, and strongly recommend that others do the same.
