fantastic!

Have ordered lots of goods over the past year from clothes to washing machines. ordering is easy and the online tracking system is great so you know where your order is. The only fault I have is that they use yodel who are completely useless at delivering at specific times i.e paid for delivery between 7 and 12 in the morning and my parcels arrived at 2pm! not the fault of Very who were fantastic and refunded my delivery charge as soon as I emailed them. apart from that wee niggle I really cannot fault them, customer service is second to none and it is so easy to return items, just fill in the returns slip and hand it in to your nearest click and collect outlet. I've never called them about faulty goods as I prefer emailing them and it is always a quick response I get.

haven't ordered from them for a wee while and usually my order arrives 2 days after I have submitted it online.ordered on the 1st of may and only after firing some emails back and forth did I finally get my order picked and processed on the 7th with super quick delivery by city-link on the 8th. excuse I got for the delay was that they had a backlog, well might I suggest you hire more staff to cope with all the orders as I really can't be bothered waiting a week for food!

just plain awful.

The problem with Yodel is that they use self employed couriers. I have stopped paying extra for morning delivery because the earliest I ever get my parcels is 2pm. apparently the information about paying for an early delivery doesn't get passed onto the couriers. what is the point of offering a delivery time if yodel can't do it? having to wait in ALL day is an absolute joke, in this day and age you should be given a 3 hour time slot! Also another gripe with the couriers is some of them obviously spend all day puffing on fags in their car while doing deliveries because my parcels absolutely stink! sitting here waiting for some flat pack furniture to arrive and have this awful feeling that it will arrive around tea time and my poor hubby will be building into the small hours!
wish littlewoods etc would start using dpd or parcelforce as these companies, despite there faults are far superior to yodel!
UPDATE 31/05/13: ordered some items yesterday from very for next day delivery before 12 noon and paid £4.95 for delivery in the hope that yodel have sorted themselves out.
SURPRISE SURPRISE! I'm still waiting for my morning delivery and it is now 2pm!
have contacted very and they have refunded delivery which is ace, just wish they would use a more reliable delivery service than these cowboys!
