Absolutely delighted with our bar stools-order placed so easily and received next day at no charge. Really impressed with quality of product, they look fantastic, were easy to put together and are much more comfortable than expected.

Disappointing first experience

I had a really disappointing first encounter with Jules B - I was searching everywhere for a particular pair of Ash trainers and found them on Jules B. I was pleased to see that I quallified for nominated next day delivery - as I work in London and am in rarely this seemed a really great process, plus I needed the trainers for a day out on Thurs 9th May. I ordered them on Saturday 4th May and was pleased that it offered me the option of delivery on Weds 8th May. I made sure I worked from home especially and waited in all day for the delivery which never came - what did come was an email on the Wednesday telling me they had been dispatched, much to my surprise after specifiaclly selecting a date. When I got the trainers it was 'after the event' as I had wanted them for a particular event. I did consider keeping them when they arrived but I was also disappointed with the actual trainers - the laces seemed to appear taupe in the picture but were a murky green colour in reality. On top of my disappointment, it was made worse by the customer service I experienced when I called to complain. I was told dispatch and delivery cannot be guaranteed, even though I was given the option of selecting a date. I have never experienced this with any other company. I wasn't given a single apology or any indication of being sympathetic towards my experience. I have returned the shoes and like I say a very disappointing expereince which is a shame as on viewing the excellent website I thought I might become a regular customer.
