I had always been very weary of using seatwave and other similar services for fear of tickets been falsified and losing vast amounts of money, not to mention playing into the hands of ticket touts.
When The Postal Service came to town and instantly sold out, however, I reconsidered. Being a long-term fan, I was willing to pay anything to get to the gig.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that ticket were being sold at (or close to) face value, by individuals who genuinely had to give up their tickets for one reason or another. The service charge was reasonable, and my etickets were available for download almost instantly after payment.
I would definitely reccomend the service to anyone desperate to get a ticket to that one gig they've been waiting for.
