good company and some excellent bargains and has to have one of THE best customer service sections out there today, very helpful and sort out problems in seconds, a good many companies out there could take lessons from the Book People's customer service team
Wish i had read these reviews before sending parcels with Hermes. I don't need to tell the story you can see it in every review, customer service non existent i have sent them 14 emails and they have not responded to any of them. Now i know why they give free insurance on each parcel - you can never claim it. Sorry Hermes you have come to the end of the road with this retailer.
first she send me quote for somewhere at the totally opposite end of the country and then closes conversation before i have chance to actually look at page and this was after waiting so long for her to respond i had to ask if she was still there. went to Kidderminster branch today to buy lunch, rude staff, too busy chatting to help customers, no idea where goods located in store and then to top it all when got back to office discovered the "freshly prepared in store" Ham and Egg salad i purchased was frozen. Telephoned to speak to manager got assistant manager (so he said) no customer service skills at all all wanted to do was make excuses, maybe freezer setting was too low - on the CHILLER cabinet????? and then there was the bit about the produce used in the prepared in store came in FROZEN!!!!!!! and then to add insult to injury if i wanted to drive all the way back to their store i could have a refund of the cost of the purchase. Got news for you, so called assistant manager - NEVER coming back and no where was there any labeling about produce being previously frozen
