Just ordered something from amazon for delivery tomorrow. Parcel tracking says item was delivered 9 months ago in Grantham... Quite apart from the tHe time difference, i live just outside Bristol!!!!! What's going on?
Why do you guys insist on using Royal Mail for your freebie 2/3 day service? Their online tracking is awful - jargon jargon jargon. Gives absolutely no indication of when my parcels are going to turn up, or indeed what's happening right now. Lets see when they actually turn up - previous experiences not great, but I retain an open mind...
On time, delivered without any dramas, kept informed throughout. Web tracking first class. Cant fault the service :)
UPDATE - just had my second delivery of the week from yodel from two different companies. This one even better - arrived a day earlier than expected!
As a Prime customer, I order loads of stuff from amazon, 2 or 3 deliveries a week - delivery service used to be excellent, but since they've been using Parcel Farce more and more, the service has gone backwards. Most recent delivery was shown on the Amazon website as delivered with me as recipient, but as of 2 days later, I still didn't have it. Just got a knock on the door from one of my neighbours with my parcel that had been left in her recycling bin presumably 2 days ago with neither her or me receiving a card through the door telling us the package had been left and where. Very poor service that reflects badly on Amazon
Parcel ordered from the hut - freebie 2/3 day service selected - arrived day 4, so not great from that perspective. Unlike another carrier which the hut group use, Royal Mail comms with parcel tracking info were jargon-ridden and confusing. Not recommended
