I found Insure and Go on a comparison site, although I have used them before. The quote seemed reasonable and I filled in the form, then realised that I had put the wrong date on, but could not alter it as I was dashing out. An adviser phoned me up to see if he could help. I booked later with no problems. Obviously, the time of telling is if I need to make a claim (hopefully not).
I have used simply supplements for a while now and get products for myself and my husband. I find the website easy to use and the items are delivered speedily. I would prefer less mailings and emails. I know when I need supplements and yet I receive "reminders" when I have only just bought the product.
I took my husband for a blood taking at Asda, York this morning. We knew that they were not scheduled to open until 8.30 a.m. but decided to be early so that we would not have a long wait. How wrong we were - there were 10 people ahead of him in the queue. That is not Asda's fault, these people were there before my husband and of course he just had to wait his turn.
The way that the staff of the blood taking "service" behaved was to be criticised though. One young member of staff arrived but did not have a key to get in. The senior member of staff then arrived, laden down with her shopping at 8.30 a.m. She did not have a key and had to then go and look for one. By the time that the door opened and they were ready for the first patient, it was 8.40 a.m. This is not a professional way to run the service. The member of staff is entitled to do her shopping ahead of starting work but it should not impact on the quality of service.
I ordered a large larder fridge from Appliances online. I have used them in the past and found that they give good value for money. The item was despatched within a short time and the company kept in touch to let me know when to expect delivery. I cannot fault them and would use them again.
I have used living social for meals out several times without any problems. Unfortunately, due to their change of fine print, I will not be buying from them again. I telephoned a restaurant to book for a meal, three weeks before the expiry date and find that now you have to book a month before the expiry date. They print their vouchers so that they fold neatly into four and on the front of the voucher, it gives the expiry date, but not the date that they have to be used by. Why? I have lost my money and will not be using them again. It is not always possible to plan a month ahead.
